Of course he would come, and while he would be hard pressed to admit it... he had been lurking nearby out of worry for the girl. So when he heard the old but familiar bark he would eagerly head in her direction.
Rabies. Poor little child, luckily he had found her. Luckily she hadn’t been killed by two rabid animals. But there was no more threats anymore, Kydobi quickly hunted down the other. Whether or not the feline was infected... he did not check. But made quick work of it with his elementals.
Lord knows the guilt he would feel in his heart. But he was going to make up for it, and make up for lost time too.
“Yes Ram? Are you okay? Need anything?”, he relaxed his posture and lowered his head to rub his nose and chin across the space between her ears.
