"i-it was my fault. uncle got hurt protecting me ... because I was too stupid to move. please dont hate me! i didnt want uncle to get hurt! i didnt want uncle to die!" she nearly wailed, dropping to the ground in a shaking crouch, ears flat and tail tucked close, afraid her gentle spoken aunt would lash out in his pain.

inside she was still a lost little girl whose family was dying left, right and center. deep inside, she was still a girl, a little one, forced to grow up faster than any of them had wanted.
