The seething sound of a hiss brushed past his elongated ears, catching his attention immediately. Narrowed eyes shifted towards the source, purple irises zoning in on the creature. Alastor noticed a larger figure. Many might call them a gentle giant, but the doberman saw them as strict competition. Nothing more than a pawn lurking around his chessboard. Needless to say, the canine was curious as to why they were lurking about. Especially on his land.
Before he could move forward to approach the poorly hidden figure, the mutated stranger darted towards a buck in the distance. The doberman couldn’t help but watch. His wide gaze observed as the mess unfolded in front of him. With every slash, blood flew from all angles and the cry of the deer rang out. Despite veering backwards in shock, Alastor was notably impressed. Despite the messy execution, Kliment got the job done. (Thanks to his physicality, of course.) The potential of having that strength on Alastor’s side interested him. Something like Kliment would benefit him, especially after his brothers abandoned him.
A disdainful growl left his maw. ”You-“ His paw jerked in Kliment’s direction. “Pause,” he commanded. If successful, the stranger would stop in their tracks instantly and look up towards Alastor with bulging eyes. The unruly canine moved forward nevertheless, coming up in front of the buck’s corpse. His eyes momentarily shifted towards the decapitated head, only to focus back down on Kliment. With a smug expression, he continued on. “You aren’t supposed to be here, now are you?” continued Alastor. Though his words were not phrased to get the truth out of Kliment, he expected it.
