Dolphins were pretty, now were they? Marina’s maw tugged upwards into a smirk. She couldn’t help but take the comment to heart. The generosity within Goldenluxury’s nonchalant comment warmed her deeply, even if it held no direct meaning to the jaguar. “Good indeed,” she echoed back. That was all she could manage to say though. There was nothing more to say on the subject, but she was somewhat glad they had gotten the intrusive small talk out of the way. Even so, their talk was intriguing so far. She couldn’t help but enjoy their time together, though brief.
Colored eyes shifted towards the tiger, eyeing her curiously. ”Whale sharks?” Marina questioned. She hadn’t expected that, especially after the fish comment. “I knew you had some bite in ya.” Her paw mimicked a playful swipe in Goldenluxury’s direction, followed by a prompt snap her of ivory teeth. With a snicker, she continued on. “Very bold of you.” She wondered why, but figured it was based on their iconic look and their go-getter attitude. There was no indication of her looking for any other reason than that. Perhaps she was too quick to judge. Marina would learn more about her short-sightedness eventually.
She couldn’t help but agree with Goldenluxury though. Life may have it’s downsides, but there was always an upside or a nice surprise around the corner. Her dismay sprouted from her lack of kinship. With no family left and her unfamiliar surroundings, she found herself lost. The only thing she truly felt connected to was the island and it’s surrounding sea. ”I guess you’re right,” the jaguar muttered back. Sometimes life just typhooned one with a wave of emotions though. Calming waves came eventually though.
Hoping to change the subject to something more suitable, she chose a more optimistic route. ”Otherwise wouldn’t I be talking to you,” came her lighthearted compliment. Multicolored eyes shifted towards Goldenluxury. There was a jolly glint in her gaze. With slight crane of her head, her attention now laid fully on the leader before her. She hoped her comment would sway her into talking more about herself rather than their deep hypotheticals.
