Unlike Goldenluxury, Marina had never found herself in love. At least truly in love. The vibrant jaguar, while she admired the gorgeous islands and glorious sea, found herself with no one. She had always been polite in passing others, offering generosity wherever she could, but there was never a true connection. All attempts ended with a reluctant breakup or ignorance. There were only mere acquaintances past that. Despite her troubles though, she always kept searching for what many would call ‘the one.’
Finding herself lost in her surroundings, she barely managed to acknowledge the tiger at first. It took her a moment to realize she was being spoken to. Upon her realization, the jaguar’s head swiveled in the direction of the leader. Her lips pulled reflexively into a smile. “Why hello to ya too,” she slyly responded. Sarcasm lined her tone.
Even with the ridiculous comment, Marina had to agree on a deeper level. Escaping the world’s monstrosities and starting over as a new being always seemed fascinating. Childhood fantasies were often more veered towards curiosity though. Nevertheless, she stayed playful. No need to grow serious. “I’m personally biased towards dolphins,” the jaguar continued. “Intelligent animals, sentient or not.”
Not to mention the fact that dolphins were so simple. With her mutated appearance and bold figure, Marina had always been insecure about her bold figure. From the tip of her multicolored tail to the leaves around her neck, her body is decked out in vibrant features. Passerbys couldn’t help but look. Despite her beauty, it almost felt demeaning. To go from a patterned creature to a flat being would feel almost refreshing. Perhaps those around her could actually recognize her genius for once too. That, though, was merely a dream.
A light sigh fluttered out from her mouth. “Ain’t it nice to be a dreamer though,” Marina reminisced. ”Reality can truly be devastating.” The jaguar looked out into the sea once again, watching the sea life with interest. ”Don’t you think, sweets?” After all, the leader had been dealing with The Pitt’s ruckus for awhile now. Maybe she thought it would be nice to just get away also.
