The turn of events intrigued the vulpine to step out of the shadows. While Gael noticed the pirate captain pull the tree in, he originally planned on moving on -- put an ornament on later, even. Instead, the frantic call of his daughter regained his attention, brows raising in surprise. Only for a moment, his golden-hazel eyes shone, confused. "Of course," he murmured thoughtfully.
The faerie trotted forward, certain the combined efforts of Kydobi and Aine may stop him, turning his considering gaze onto the captain. "His primary source of food isn't as abundant as before. I doubt he'll sit still with a tree like this in front of him for long."
"You may want to decorate something else for Christmas, unless you do have other trees." An unfortunate truth, he supposed, accustomed as many, to the practice of trees specifically. While he painted often during this season, he doubted it bore the same effect as a traditional tree. It is still an idea -- one Aine may enjoy.
"Even a smaller tree may distract him."
Gael had observed, in past events, the dragon responded to reprehension. He had recalled unpleasant reactions and took them into account before. Ideally, Kydobi and Aine were enforcing something, but the faerie doubted Astiar would hold onto the concept of ignoring his primary source of food for long. Not if he is incredibly hungry.
