So, in order to make the group seem more festive for the holidays, Vox had decided that they were going to do an event called the "Twelve days of Christmas", with some sort of event happening every other day until Christmas. He figured it would be pretty fun, would break the ice between the still pretty new Halls members, and also just put everyone in the festive and merry spirit. Admittedly Christmas wasn't entirely based around the usual traditions and stuff that humans had, given that the Halls had a completely different set of gods, but that didn't mean that things weren't pretty similar, and would look familiar to those outside of the group. As such, one of the first events that Vin y had decided he was going to host was a little competition – a competition to see who could make the best tasting hot cocoa. With the winter months finally beginning and snow beginning to fall some days, Vin knew that it was about to get pretty cold, and hot cocoa always felt pretty amazing whenever one came back in from the cold. The leader had made especially careful precautions to make sure that they didn't end up burning down the damn fortress while heating up milk or whatever else they needed to for the hot cocoa, obviously. Truthfully, he wasn't sure how they were going to judge the competition, since taste could be very subjective, but he figured if they had the entire group judging, then it would be pretty fair in judging who had actually made the best hot cocoa of all.

In the lobby of the apartment building they called the fortress, Vox had set up a table full of many different ingredients, along with stuff like milk and hot cocoa packets of all different kinds that he had managed to scrounge up. He also had several little hot plates set up, since they could have pots rested on them and cocoa made in them. The hybrid was humming as he sorted out the last of the piles of ingredients, glancing around at the various members that had already been attracted out of sheer curiosity over what the hell their Harbinger was doing. Clearing his throat, Vin flashed a sharp toothed smile before calling out to everyone present, along with everyone up the stairs within the building, Hey! If ya wanna participate in a hot cocoa makin' competition f'the Christmas season, come down 'ere! I've got a bunch'a ingredients, and everybody will have their cocoa judged 'n' rated to see who win! If ya win, y'get... hm... ah, y'get th'rest of the hot cocoa ta share with whoever y'want." That was a pretty good prize, right? He certainly would've been happy to win a bunch of cocoa.
