→ Spring Traditions:
The Egg Hunt: The Week of Easter Sunday is a particularly entertaining time for the Ravens and Crows. Together the Commodores, or a set of willing volunteers hide eggs all throughout the Ravens and Crows' territory. The goal; find as many eggs as you can by the end of the week. There is a bonus objective however; each commodore has hidden a special egg, decorated with the mark of their division, that is typically made extremely difficult to find.
The Painter's Challenge: In the spirit of the colorful time of spring, the Ravens and Crows host the painter’s challenge. Individually, or as a troop, the members are encouraged to participate by painting the walls of the fortress. Typically, the dorms each troop has claimed are the canvases.
→ Summer Traditions:
Summer Solstice Bonfire: One of two annual bonfires, the Ravens and Crows host a spectacular gathering on the summer solstice that lasts from the morning to the dawn of the next day. There is music, snacks, games and contests hosted all throughout the day.
→ Fall Traditions:
Pumpkin Carving: As autumn rolls in and Halloween creeps upon the land, the troops set to work decorating the castle. A particularly encouraged pastime is to carve pumpkins and place candles inside them, creating spooky lights all throughout their home base.
All Hallows Eve Lanterns: On Hallows Eve night, the Ravens and Crows enjoy a particularly beautiful tradition of casting lights into the sky, often directly over their many lakes, which they surround with the lit jack-o-lanterns they have worked on beforehand. The night is meant to be one of bonding and spiritual beauty.
→ Winter Traditions:
Winter Solstice Bonfire: One of the two annual bonfires, the Ravens and Crows host a gathering on the winter solstice, from dawn to the next day. A day meant to celebrate the end of the year and friendships within, the bonfire is typically accompanied by gift giving, music and team-based competitions.
