Hamaru had his eyes (well, more like eye, given one was clearly blind. Such was bluntly announced by a puffy, milky looking layer of white and grey, that gradually became redder and darker near the center.) on Aslisk, and there was recognition in his gaze. He knew her like she knew him, not like this. He was used to some baggy blue sweater, this little feather thing around a horn, but oh lucky him, her sass and brutal sarcasm were still present.
“Oh for fucksake,” he uttered, rump flopping down to the floor making a sound that somehow managed to sound disappointed, his shoulders sagging. His wings followed suit, flopping to rather side.
Hamaru looked like he had been expecting some big juicy piece of prey and instead he got the most bitter and scrawny thing imaginable.
“Hi Aslisk, firesprink yourself,” he groaned, before he glanced over at the two others and realized he had no idea who they were.
“Join a pair of strangers in the middle of some creepy place? Sure, sure why the fuck not, I’m lost anyways.” Now it was impossible to tell, but something deep inside him under all the anger issues and all his typical Hamaru-y frustration... was a small sense of joy. Someone he knew was here, and that made it somewhat okay.
So join it was, after all Vox had said there would be problems if that wasn’t the case. He didn’t doubt his fighting abilities, but was also smart enough to consider the fact that he was currently faced with two beings he had no information on, and well, Aslisk had always been a bit of a wild card in his mind and he wasn’t absolutely certain that she would be with him or against him if a fight did break out. ‘Honestly just to spite me she’d probably side with them...’ he thought with a mental groan.
