[font=trebuchet ms]At long last, they were going to show the Pitt that they were not to be trifled with.
Rin wouldn't say she was excited, but she nonetheless found herself reveling in being able to defend her allies for once. Too many times before, she had had no means of preventing harm from coming to the creatures around her, or of avenging those who fell at the paws of unprovoked aggressors. This time was going to be different. Once the Pitt had been trod into the ground, she could return to her original mission without having to worry about fighting a war on two fronts.
Still, they had to be cautious. The Pitt would not be easy to tame, and while she understood Goldenluxury's reasons for wanting to take them over rather than wiping them out, it was risky nonetheless. They could prove uncontrollable, and that was assuming that this raid succeeded... which it might not, if the Pitt had been paying close enough attention to realize what was going on and formulate a counter-strategy.
She would fight either way. The observatory's destruction could not go unpunished.
Rin approached the crew with their supplies and dipped her head to Goldenluxury, then turned her attention to the barrel. Reaching in, she pulled out a blue scarf and wrapped it around her neck on top of her usual green one. Taking out one of her newly-crafted arrows, she studied it carefully. The ones she'd made weren't as neat as the arrows she'd found by the Huntress, but the tips of the arrowheads were still sharp, and they were close enough in size and shape that they'd do against mortals. With a nod, she put it back in her quiver with the other five and stepped away from the barrel, then waited for further instructions.
