  [font=trebuchet ms]Rin knew quite a lot about a couple years feeling like decades. She had been alive for not even four and a half years by this point, and already she was beginning to feel old. Outliving several groups and dozens of allies would do that to a creature, yet she was still going. She had a mission, and she was going to complete it.

  Pouring all of herself into others, too, was something she understood too well. To sacrifice everything for one's friends, and then to lose those friends in a few short months... sometimes one or two would return for a short time, but that time never seemed to last long enough. Yet, once again, she had caught herself almost falling into that trap with Elysium. They had helped her and she would help them, but she was not one of them- she had to remind herself of that more and more often nowadays.

  Rin had been looking for herbs when she spotted the conspicuously winged, green-furred feline at the border, offering a slightly-stammering introduction. His demeanor, while not familiar in the sense that she might have known him (she was pretty certain she didn't), still reminded her of... no, she preferred not to think about that too hard. Approaching Izuku, she answered, "You're free to stay with us, then. I'm Rin."
