Where Torren felt inclined to go towards the gathering, Kiira felt a stronger urge to go the opposite direction.  Only... The gentle wildcat possessed an air of peace she appreciated being around.  He always spoke politely.  He never seemed bothered by anyone.  Despite being quiet, like herself, he seemed so friendly and open.  She remembered being friendly... Both Suvi and Kiira... Friendly.  Just quiet.

Now she lingered on the sidelines more than she used to.  Paws shuffling.  Unmatched hues flickering; a dim candle seeking escape.  Had she only seen the group, Wormwood in the center, cooking, she may have kept walking.  She had notes to write and a medical kit to re-stock.  Only Torren had weaved his way through the group to sit by the fire, to speak with Wormwood.

Honestly, Kiira still felt uneasy with the male.  She disliked holding onto such fear, especially of clanmates.  And it had not been him to land the killing blow... The crack that echoed in her mind.  She did not fear Torren however, having found a friend in the feline.  Slowly, she ducked her way through the impromptu crowd, fur prickling at the close quarters.  Without a word, she sat down directly besides Torren, catching the final snippets of Wormwood's response.

Her owlish eyes blinked once, glancing at the fire, then towards the Tanglers enjoying the cookout.  One of her paws disappeared as she returned her gaze to the two, not quite focusing on anyone's eyes.  Lightly, her brow creased.  Following a number of glitches or unintentional uses of her abilities, Kiira felt ill and dizzy.  Weak.  Exhausted.  "J-just don't... Ov-overwork yourself."
