After his first time meeting the dinosaur when he had just been exploring around, Hush had been... well, sort of freaked out by the male. Not that Tanteri seemed mean, but he was just so blunt and loud that he had startled the young male and made him sort of frightened, since he had never actually encountered a dinosaur before, and he had thought for ages that the dinosaurs had been extinct. After all, every history book and person that Hush had come across before arriving in The Typhoon had thought that dinosaurs had been extinct for ages. However, most of the books he had read had also mentioned that there used to be humans before, and he had never encountered a human before, so perhaps it was understandable that they had been wrong about dinosaurs. Still, it was sort of amazing that Tanteri existed. After all, he must've felt so special being the only dinosaur around these days. Plus if he ever met another supposedly gone dinosaur, then perhaps they could have eggs, and then make it so that dinos weren't so rare anymore! Just the thought of that made him smile, since it would mean there would be lots of little cute lizardy friends to play with and take care of.
As a result of his hair raising first encounter with Tanteri, Hushsound didn't very often actively seek out the other male, although he also didn't often seek out anybody, really. He wasn't exactly the most social person in the world, since he couldn't talk out loud, and people didn't usually like it when he couldnt speak directly to them. However, even though he hadn't been actively searching at all for Tanteri, he did eventually end up going towards the flying dinosaur, since he heard weird noises coming from the direction of the male. He kept hearing little squeaks and shrieks of pain that were swiftly cut off, and was immediately filled with concern for the source of them, quickly moving over to where Tanteri was laying on the ground, trembling and covering himself with his own wings. He had no idea how to help, and he just stared in confusion for a moment before moving a bit closer, the smack of his sword against his hip probably sounding like the crash of thunder to Tanteri's super sensitive sense of hearing. Once he was just a couple of feet away from Tanteri, he hunched down and gently stretched out a paw to poke and pat at Tanteri's wings, trying to get him to look up and relax.
Glancing towards the ground beneath them, he winced when he saw that it was grass, rather than the usual sandy surface that he was able to write in. He found himself staring for a long moment before his muzzle finally opened, immediately flinching at the scratchy feeling that came from just opening his mouth. He took a deep breath inward before he began to speak softly, his voice scratchy and hoarse from disuse, making him want to curl in on himself and hide away so that he couldn't be heard by anybody, "T... Tanteri, are you alright? Are you hurt somehow?" He was intentionally brief, not wanting Tanteri to hear any more of his voice. He didn't want anybody to hear his voice, really, and the only reason he was speaking now was because he was worried for Tanteri's health, but that didn't mean that he needed to make some big huge speech. Just enough to get his point across, and then he could clam back up, hoping that someone else came along and could speak for him, so he could fade into the background again.
