It was different from where she was hatched, for sure. There was no canopy to doze in, no canopy to fall out of. She didn't go investigating people's houses. It was 'rude', wasn't it? She was still trying to learn these strange concepts. It delighted her to know that she had to be making progress. One of such progressions was the development of her, by far, favorite task: cookie baking. The little dragon loved the self assigned task, loved baking, loved her current home.
When she smelled cookies, though, her interest was piqued. Her little head raised from where she had been chewing on a small pebble, having succumbed to a bout of teething. A glowing green tongue flickered past her beak like maw, and her paws swiftly began to carry her about. Sanzu rapidly tasted the air, trying to find some direction to wander in to find the source of the smell. Eventually she wound up almost bumbling into Nine: her red eyes having shut to try to rely more on her sense of smell. "Cookies?" The little dragon inquired, eyes opening and widening. Her small wings gave a little flutter, and another flicker of her tongue followed.
It was a strange concept to a young creature that the tasks they did were able to be done by others. Sanzu had thought herself to be the only one in the clan that baked cookies. Yet, here she was, drawn over by the smell of her favorite pastry freshly being cooked. Her tongue remained out of her mouth for a few seconds, as if trying to process the situation. Her eyes squinted. "Th' cookies smell good," Sanzu mused, words coming slowly. How could someone else be making cookies? Her young mind was trying to grasp such a foreign concept, and clearly the little dragon was absolutely puzzled. Even if she hadn't made them, Sanzu supposed that any cookie was a good cookie.
