[font=trebuchet ms]She had stayed for far too long.

When she had initially come to the Typhoon, she had intended to stay at least until the bleeding stopped, at most until she was no longer at risk of infection. The latter of those had passed some time ago, yet she still hadn't left. Maybe it was mental and physical exhaustion, maybe it was the feeling that she owed these people something, maybe it was a fear of what she would come back to in Elysium.

Whatever her reasons, she had overstayed her welcome, and the universe had chosen to retaliate by nearly killing Goldenluxury. Thanks to Suvi, the captain had survived, but Rin wasn't about to risk something similar happening again. She knew what she had to do, and she was physically capable of doing it, so today was the day to leave.

By the time the sun was at its peak, the treehouse she had temporarily inhabited was empty, albeit smelling noticeably of herbs, paper, and ink. The scent could be traced all the way back to the jungle temple, where a small basket had been placed by the entrance. The basket's contents consisted of some herbs collected from throughout the territory, and a note with the words "Thank you" written in ink. Succinct, as was proper for this situation. She could probably bring more in the way of repayment later, perhaps stocks of herbs that the Typhoon wouldn't normally have easy access to, but this would do for now.

She had followed the railways back to the mainland and set off into the forest, without so much as a word. She wasn't one for elaborate, showy goodbyes.
