Starry had already been up and beginning to move when he heard the loud echoing clang of the bell, but there wasn't any sense of urgency to his steps until Fiachra came screeching by. He blinked in fear and confusion at the bird as it spread it's wings in front of his face, cawing loudly and flapping it's wings frantically before continuing on its quest. He flattened his ears for a moment before his gaze traveled to where the bird had come from, and he began to race towards the shore, his starry body twinkling brightly the entire way as his legs shot him forward as fast as they could.
He comes upon Goldie and Suvi after a couple of moments, and his eyes widen immediately in panic as he sees what Suvi is doing. Goldie was bleeding, a lot, and he wasn't sure how to handle that. It wasn't as if he was a safe, and even if he had once had medical knowledge – which he might've, he wasn't sure – he didn't remember any of it now. He stoos there staring at the scene for a long moment, his chest heaving up and down in a panic as he stared at the scene, his ears pinned against his head and his faintly white eyes staring in fear as he watched the blood slowly draining from Goldie's neck around Suvi's paws, seeming like a hopeless and unstoppable flow that gushed steadily forward without fail, seeking to destroy Goldie's life and drag her down to the deep, dark recesses of death.
His legs are trembling as he moved slowly forward to Goldie's side, his legs practically collapsing underneath him as he laid down alongside the captain. He pressed his nose into her fur, mumbling softly as he closed his eyes and felt his heart sink, "M-Miss Goldie... please wake up. I can't help you with medicine, but you can't go, okay...? No going away.." He realizes that he sounds childish as he pressed his nose further against her fur, as if his touch could suddenly heal all of her wounds, but he couldn't help it. He had just finally begun to get to know Goldie and the other people here, he didn't want to fucking lose one of them...
