I HEARD, I HEARD ACROSS A MOONLIT SEA
THE OLD VOICE WARNING ME
BEWARE, BEWARE THE DAUGHTER OF THE SEA
BEWARE, BEWARE OF ME.
[align=center]She would nod slowly to Sam's response and question, her head tilting slightly. She wouldn't respond to that immediately, thinking to herself silently, until she received the little smirk from the female. The tigress would offer a warm smile in return, standing up to move closer towards Sam and sit beside her. "Is' an oxymoron. 've got too many luxuries, ma'am. M' home's filled wit' 'em. Gold doubloons are pretty, sure, but they ain' really worth usin' for anythin'. If ya ask me, m' best, most valuable treasure's what 'm wearin' right now." She'd tilt her head closer towards the female, bringing more attention towards the blue feather earring she always wore, and moved her paw under her shark tooth necklace once more. "Given by m' papa. He prolly beat up the shark himself jus' t' get the tooth on m' necklace here." Her tone is light-hearted, and sincerely filled with adoration. Though she spoke more of the necklace, the feather earring certainly meant the most to her. It held the most meaning, she felt, and connected them deeper than anything else. The necklace told her he would return; the earring meant that she was accepted, loved, that he was proud of her, that she was important for her family, that her papa is always with her, even if it didn't seem like it.
She was not ashamed to get so personal, but she saw no reason to right now. The captain would raise her head once more and look towards the submarine at the docks, blinking quietly for a moment. "When I was lil', I made individual, personalized presents for every single crewmate. I did it usin' stuff I found 'round the island. M' room must've been filled for a good month with random stuff before I could give everyone everythin'." That was maybe a year ago now. That was so strange for her to think - it didn't feel so long, but she knows she's learned and changed more than a year's worth in that time. Goldie was really just rambling on right now, though she wasn't totally aware of it. It has been a very long time since she's ever gotten to a state like this, but she quite enjoys it, and easily loses herself within it.
Though, right now, she is able to notice she was talking a lot. The female seems almost embarrassed - not a mood others got to see from her often. "Oh, 'm jus' talkin' away. 'm sorry 'bout that." She doesn't know where their conversation is going off to, and she doesn't really mind it, but the female knows Sam said she didn't intend of staying past tomorrow morning. She would hate to make the female feel trapped just from their senseless conversation.

NOTHING'S EVER LOST FOREVER, IT'S JUST HIDING IN THE RECESS OF YOUR MIND AND WHEN YOU NEED IT, IT WILL COME TO YOU AT NIGHT. I MISS THE YELLOW. I MISS THE YELLING AND THE SHAKEDOWN. I'M NOT COMPLAINING, NO, I GOT A BETTER SET OF KNIVES NOW. I MISS MY DRUMMER, MY DEAD STEPBROTHER, AND THE PIT CROWD. AND CHUCK AND MATTY - IF THEY COULD SEE ME THEY'D BE SO PROUD.
