A pleasant breeze blew by, stirring the fur along Selby’s ears as he continued. "Are you new? If you are, welcome. If you need help with anything, you should let me know. I’m also a sawbones, so if you get hurt or sick or anything you should come find me."
Selby briefly recalled the time that he had joined Tanglewood with his father. He remembered that he had been scared. Of what, he didn’t remember. A mutant, most likely. The territory was full of them, and yet Selby still wasn’t used to seeing them. He didn’t think he ever would.
