after a long night of sleeping and dying from the heat, poet found that the afternoon heat was much worse. he didn’t trust a good bit of the water here so he had often resorted to puddles on the streets since it wasn’t as muddy or.. irradiated- he hoped, at least. he wouldn’t want to be growing extra limbs or dying of radiation poisoning.
losing or gaining an extra limb would be.. a very unfortunate thing to happen to poetking. he quite liked how he was now, but.. maybe some horns would be cool, or bigger teeth. he wasn’t horribly intimidating yet, so something to make him seem like he could hurt you would help.. not that he’d want to hurt someone. but he was still a young male- didn’t even have a full mane yet.. that was usually their mane fear factor. the longer the mane, the older you were, the more wars you’ve survived.
stopped at another puddle, he would look over his reflection and raise a paw to ruffle the top of his shirt mane, tilting his head and huffing when he just went back to its original position.
