I HEARD, I HEARD ACROSS A MOONLIT SEA
THE OLD VOICE WARNING ME
BEWARE, BEWARE THE DAUGHTER OF THE SEA
BEWARE, BEWARE OF ME.
[align=center]To be totally honest, she was beginning this all a little late, and she felt pretty damn bad about that. But, she would feel worse if she didn't do it at all. Calypso's Carnival was one of the biggest things she'd gotten to witness her papa organize and the female was truly nervous for the first time in a while - she had to live up to her papa's legacy and, so far, she thought she was achieving it relatively successful, and she's hosted plenty of large events before, but she did not want to fuck this up even in the smallest amount. It is a tradition of her people - one that had been there to bring her family together, and keep her happier in what would have soon been one of the lowest points of her life - and she'd be thoroughly disappointed if she did not present it correctly. And, to be even more honest, she'd never even participated in a spar before. She'd simply never been a big fan of the idea of them. What the fuck were they even like? Shit.
The golden tiger prepares the Hidden Colosseum for the event, her mind going over her many ideas. Even if she was not one-hundred percent certain of what she was supposed to do in this situation, she at the very least wanted to offer them the basics, along with some good food. Even if the sparring part ends up crumbling, they'll at least get to say they enjoyed themselves with the food and silly paints they got to spread over themselves and others. She set it all along the sidelines, keeping the seats and center clear for both the audience and the fighters. Would she take part in the spar? Maybe...
The captain, now having everything set up, would send her harpy eagle, Lynn, off to drop flyers she'd created - simply to inform them of the event - beginning at sundown, the Colosseum was open for all who wished to take part or watch spars, throw glow in the dark paints at each other, talk to some Tanglewood allies, or simply want some food. Now all that was left to make sure everything was tidy while she waited.

NOTHING'S EVER LOST FOREVER, IT'S JUST HIDING IN THE RECESS OF YOUR MIND AND WHEN YOU NEED IT, IT WILL COME TO YOU AT NIGHT. I MISS THE YELLOW. I MISS THE YELLING AND THE SHAKEDOWN. I'M NOT COMPLAINING, NO, I GOT A BETTER SET OF KNIVES NOW. I MISS MY DRUMMER, MY DEAD STEPBROTHER, AND THE PIT CROWD. AND CHUCK AND MATTY - IF THEY COULD SEE ME THEY'D BE SO PROUD.
