While he did not necessarily see it such a way, the rumbling of his stomach was most certainly a blessing. There was a fair chance he would go on to starve without even realizing it had someone not intervened. Plus, it got rid of the awkward silence. The jaguar would give an unsure expression towards Myhri's inquiry, unsure of what he would respond. He did not need to eat (or so he thought), but he was unsure how to explain this, besides, he did not necessarily want to turn the canine down. He was certainly fine with hanging out with him either way - it wasn't like he had much of a chance to interact with folks around here, voice being taken away and all. He ponders over it for a few moments. Hopefully his expression and hesitance did not offend the male.
Damianos would ultimately settle on a curt nod, offering a smile once more. Did he really need to eat? Even if he didn't, was it possible for him to? The Gods had done so before, so surely there would have been a way. He supposes it won't hurt to try, he just did not like the idea of wasting things. And, to be honest, he'd no idea how to do it. Oh dear, he was beginning to feel nervous. How could he explain he didn't know how to eat to a mortal?
