they hadn't expected to find themselves in the typhoon's territory, let alone to be attacked by a coconut -- a freaking coconut! the offending object flying through the long grasses and colliding with their head.

giving a faint yelp, "yow!", the fox rubbed at their smarting cranium with a scarred paw, huffing and looking around theirself in an attempt to find where the coconut had come whistling from. frowning as they rubbed their head, the fox was silent apart from their initial exclamation of pain, having heard a voice nearby.

they were surrounded by grasses and unfamiliar landmarks. they hadn't come this way before. ears pulling back, the former pharoah bared their teeth in annoyance and aggravation for their shunned power and the pain that they had felt not too long ago at being turned away by the one that had finally caught their eye with wit and charm ... just those two things. they were getting weak and they were getting cheap.

these thoughts of the past and the losses that they had suffered recently obscured their mind as they treaded along, having decided that the coconut did not matter to them, and was now being rolled along by their paws in humor and to give themselves something to do. what were they doing here again? was it official business or just boredom that brought them to the typhoon?

pausing as they thought of the coconut they were kicking about lightly, they thought to send it back the way they had figured it had come from just for the moment of fun.
