it was too quiet for the young halfling to stand, the silence of the desert temples half swallowed by the jungles bothering her senses. she figured that with very few people actually out and about, that she should do something that the more grown-up folk did, and maybe catch her father's attention in the process.

rolling out in the dirt, she lightened her dark brindle pelt, bright eyes shining as she admired her now tawny fur, the canine grinning at the ground for a moment, enjoying this short-lived moment of giddiness, before she settled back into an older mindset. "hey pittians! I'm holding a patrol if you want to come along! we're doing a territory sweep, re-marking the borders and maybe doing a little hunting too!", now to wait and see who would come out for a relatively boring stroll.
