Moreover, all Straw had done was tend to the plants already in the greenhouse; Lilja had planted an entire garden of her own. Straw couldn't help but marvel at the neatly-labeled plots and bright sprouts as she approached. Given time, there would be an immense harvest. (There would be strawberries, too, which she personally would await eagerly.)
Glancing over at Lilja in the grass, Straw twitched her ears. "How long?" she said softly, reaching a paw up to adjust her mask. The question could mean how long it had taken to plant, or how long Lilja estimated it would take to finish growing; Straw was mostly curious about the former, but if Lilja wished to answer the latter too, she wouldn't complain.
