[font=trebuchet ms]She hadn't been sure what she would find when she investigated the old observatory, but much to her delight there had been a deck of cards and a couple stacks of poker chips within an empty room. It didn't smell of anyone in particular, so any occupant was most likely long gone. If they came back to claim their property, then she would happily give it up.
Setting down the cards and chips on the sidewalk outside one of the shops, under the shade of the awning, Straw glanced around. Lilja had asked if she might be willing to teach the Elysites how to play poker, and given how quiet it was right now she could probably handle the few people who might show up. "Anyone up for poker?" she asked softly, adjusting her mask with one paw. "Texas hold'em or Omaha. I can teach."
If enough people arrived for a full game, she probably would refrain from playing herself- it wasn't exactly fair to play poker with a mask on. If not... she'd figure it out. Hopefully.
