    SELF-ENTITLED
[ Sounds good with me! That works just fine. ]

Jervis listened, golden eyes staring down the jaguar intently. His muscles remained tense. What Kydobi had to say interested him, but would it ever sway his opinion?

    'Everyone is...'

Then what made Jervis think Kydobi was his ally? If everyone was his enemy, then what about Kydobi shined out? The ardent was hesitant to listen to the jaguar's words, unable to comprehend putting his faith in another animal. There was never a person who hadn't betrayed him after that. There was no winning.

    'Our enemy.'

He did not catch Kydobi's meaning beneath his words, noting that they were hand in hand with their point of views. Even so, he was still focused on his enemies. Priorities were always focused towards him and if his enemies weren't necessarily tied to his clan, then so be it. His reign was not honorable. The vulpine would not admit that he was selfish and pretentious in his ways, but instead wanted to pride himself on his leadership.

But then his ego was being stroked. He felt himself slipping away into Kydobi's words as his muscles loosened and his expression relaxed. The thought of his clan bending the knee excited him. Never had they obeyed his word to the tee, nor had admired him. They always thought they had another plan that was better than his, something that they thought he couldn't understand. Somehow, though, there was someone before him telling him differently. If only he changed a few things and remained in the shadows, The Pitt would succeed.

The red fox lightened up. His head craned to show his interest to Kydobi. "You most definitely make a compelling point, sir Kydobi," he answered back promptly. "A facade it is." They would need to rebuild their relations, presumably with The Typhoon and The Rosebloods. On the other hand, Tanglewood was a lost cause. With Crow Roux on his tail, they were surely not going to mend their ways, but he believed Goldenluxury Roux could perhaps drop her own hate in exchange for his loyal facade. Even so, they were already running that facade. It wasn't long before The Typhoon found out that The Pitt still had slaves.

Someone by his side was debatable though. At any time, someone could go behind his back and stab him. Still, Jervis just smiled devilishly and nodded along with the dark cat's words in hopes of pleasing him. "Sounds like things could work out between us," came his sly comment. "Perhaps even for the best."

Now all he had to do was find out where Kydobi could fit in his grand scheme... Whatever that grand scheme was. That required some time set aside to think though and with that, the ardent stood up straight. "I'm glad we could of had this discussion, Ky." He offered a low dip of his head. "I think I will need some time to think these things out and we can discuss further propositions later." And with that, he was off into the darkness again.
