Good job Ramona. It would be the first thing to come to mind. The fact that she even managed to hold on as long as she did was a feat. Eventually she fell. Yes. That was granted. He dipped his head as he watched her get up.
"Excellent," he said as he crouched down, remembering to not lose himself in the moment, "If this was a real battle you could use your mouth to clamp onto my scruff and do real damage."
His positioned himself to let her know it was not over, "Your kind may not have hooked claws and skull crushing fangs like mine do but yours certainly have jaws worth their while. Wolves especially. When chasing prey they often lock their maw around the poor victims legs."
There was strength in numbers but there was little chance that the halfbreed would be running around with a pack. So he would make sure she was more than capable of handling herself alone. Besides he may not always be there to protect her in battle.
But a scent abrupted everything. A scent so shockingly... powerful. Enthralling. Magnificent. Delicious. It was her blood and it activated something. A click and he was hunter again. He crouched lower, his eyes slitted so much that they were nearly all molten and lava. His claws unsheathed and he lowered even more. Creeping forward ever so softly.

"Stop! We're done.", he saw she was bleeding from her head. Did he do that? No the fall. He reverted back to his normal self. Forcing the primal urge to take down the injured prey. Claws sheathed. Pupils dilated. Posture returned.
"You did amazing Ramona. But I don't want to kill you during training. We may be more civilized but I'm still a hunter by nature. I don't want to hurt you. Ever.", he shook his head to clear it.
"Would you like to go hunting with me sometime?"[sub][W]isker[/sub]
