The fly buzzed around her ears.
Sam hadn't done much since she arrived, keeping herself busy by laying on the porch of the home she had chosen for herself. It felt empty for some reason, missing the smell of.. what was it? Frozen pizza? She grimaced as she thought of it, shaking her head as she picked her cheek up off of the porch front. There was definitely something missing from her home, though she couldn't decide what still. She reached up, batting the fly away before she stood up, stretching out her body and yawning.
Her green eyes cast over the town that the porch let out onto, tail gently swaying behind her. Sam gently reminded herself there was probably no reason to keep trying to find her past. It was probably shitty anyways. Muttering a curse as she leaped onto the porch railing, then down to the ground, she slowly slunk out and down the road, looking for any kind of distraction.
