He sensed her movements a moment before the impact on his back. A rustle in the bushes and he would turn his head to see Ramona midair. Before he could step away she landed hard. His legs buckled to keep from falling.
Instinctively he wanted to barrel roll and crush her but he would stop himself. This wasn't meant to harm her. Just guide her Kydobi. But making this a trivial experience would do nothing for her, the goal was to challenge but not break.
Instead of falling on his back, the large feline would attempt to thrash around, sprinting forwards and suddenly jerk in the opposite direction in the attempt to throw her off[sub][W]isker[/sub]
