their voice radiated outwards loudly, growing soft as the oriental dragon immediately bumped heads with cass, their body sliding alongside theirs in a familiar loving hold, purrs rumbling from the serpent as they twined together with their best friend, laughing and gently bumping their jaw with their head, extremely excited and happy now. fat silvery tears welled in their tearducts, nuzzling their muzzle against the underside of cass' jaw, aiming to get their friend on their back for optimal cuddling.

the dragon had never shown this much emotion before anyone, and should anyone stumble across this, they would be shocked to see the vizier of the rosebloods acting like a child in their movements. yet, the ancient being could not find it within themselves to give much of a crap at that moment.

they could see the scars, and smell the pain that lingered within the other, purring still as they gently began to lap at the scars and open wounds, paying special attention to the injuries from cass' mouth being sewn shut, their arms and legs holding onto the other, unwilling to let go. tongue curling over injuries and bloody marks they gave a low grieving noise, head resting against cass', trembling slightly from the shock of the situation, weeping as they rumbled, "you live, mandarin ... you live!" they sob, eyes closed and allowing the long time of not knowing what had happened to crash over them, wanting to take the pain from their friend, the want to prevent all of this pain, all of these years ...
