While he heard her agreement with his statement, he wasn't really listening. His mind wandered to the world for a moment, what if Ramona was here. What if she had a family. What if the Pitt had a strong leader. All that.
But he didn't wander in wonder for too long. Quickly the jaguar tuned in, returning his gaze back to the half breed before him. Her words made him smile softly once more, but it was the blue smile of one who knew better. The last thing he wanted to do was promise her something. Get her hopes up and as fate would have it. Not last.
"As long as the world lets me, you have my friendship."
He would watch her stumble after boasting her flexibility and looseness and almost chuckled. An action he hadn't done in a long time, "Of course I'll train with you. Lesson one, don't trip."
He said it in a joking manner with humor in his eyes.
"Lesson two. When you do fall however get up and don't linger on what went wrong. Keep moving forward. I see you've already gotten that part down. Good job." it wasn't necessarily praise but he wanted her to know he saw her recovery and it was not for nothing.
He began to trot as he had fallen back when she ran ahead. Now he was by her side.
"So when did you come here? To the Pitt?"[sub][W]isker[/sub]
