    ahahahahahaha!!

jervis: @!#%6 6^% DON'T TELL ME WHAT TO DO

also I'm unsure if the "break Kydobi" plan will work anymore :/ development has occurred. But!!! He may be able to make Kydobi do things for the sake of Ky giving him his word. [member=3615]JERVIS[/member]  ]

Kydobi flicked his ear, the sharp tone did not affect him. Internally, however, a flame sparked. He was slightly irritated at this spoiled little fox. How did he ever come to power? Debauchery no doubt. For no sane man would appoint him as such.

Kydobi held back a snort and stopped slouching to look down at the fox. Passive aggressive. But polite. The type of shade to be exchanged at upper class tea parties. A bunch of bitter house wives with backhanded compliments and ambiguous criticism.

"Well, my grand Ardent... I wouldn't be so quick to fight. Everyone is our enemy. The Typhoon? Really. A bunch of pirates... Their word is as good... As good as ours.", he paused to let that sink in, taking a moment to sigh.

Now reel it in Kydobi, don't be rude... Get your point across, "I don't believe there is anyone to fight for the position to lead... Other than Ardent."

he looked into the foxes eyes, "But that is not what I want. I want to work with you and under your command. Don't you understand..." He thought, he needed to appeal to the fox.

"... That they envy you! People don't fear those they envy. They don't sit idle and cower either. They want to see them come crashing down and burn. "

Men like you never last long.

"See now... Perhaps we should try to fix our image? A facade if you will. I've heard we may or may not hold slaves, not that I've seen any... But perhaps we- you should formally announce of our 'changed' ways. A new leaf."

Kydobi flicked his tail, trying to gauge the vulpine's reaction, "But turning a new leaf does not make us weak. We can be the snake in the bushes. People will join us because they no longer fear being enslaved and murdered... Save a couple loners... provide them a home. Make loyal soldiers. Tale of our decent deeds spread. The others will ease up a little. Maybe make a few alliances, and keep our word long enough to make them believe and long enough for us to gather vital information... Maybe plant a few spies And when they let their guards down... When we have the numbers... When we known their weak points and strengths... We snap." He drilled his jaw closed, ivories snapping to dramatize his statement.

He smiled softly, "And they all will bow to you. It takes a smart one to plan it Ardent. But it takes a man of the utmost... masterful expertise and skill to execute it. I believe you are that man, Jervis. But two heads are better than one, even if you're one of the smarter creatures I've ever met. No man of high stature walks alone. Or without security."

Now Kydobi was trying to stroke his glorious pride. Swell his ego. But his words lacked the overly sweet & artificial words that ass kissers tended to have. They sounded genuine. Only because he believed that his plan would work.

In all reality. Kydobi felt that when, hopefully if, it all came to fail under Jervis' rule that someone could maintain the Pitt. Already he was on relatively good terms with the Rosebloods. So if Jervis dies, there is a good alliance. If Jervis kicks him out. He always has them to run to. He had already been offered membership after all.

    But he had a mission.

And he belonged in the Jungle.
