[align=center][div style="width: 450px;; text-align: justify"][size=8pt]If he knew the whole truth, Amaranth's position wasn't very far from his own. Running away from an abusive father and another father who had no clue what to do with his kids - and his partner - than send his kids away for their own safety. It hadn't dawned on Amaranth yet, but because she left the Typhoon, she left Edgar behind - and all she could do was hope he was okay, and if he wanted to come find her, that he'd find her soon.
Amaranth found it intriguing that as she applied the sludgy, clear fluid to his wounds, that he didn't even flinch - he must have been used to medicine, but then that wasn't a good thing. A lifetime of war was hard on the body, no matter how many bandages and salves are added. Hearing him speak, she blinked with alarm, but simply snorted. "What sort of asshole leaves someone to die?" she asked, although she didn't expect an answer.
As Kunta stared into Amaranth's eyes, she found herself faltering under his icy gaze. Feeling her fur heat up, she shyly glanced away, staring down at her paws. Hearing him introduce herself, she did the same. "Amaranth Jones. It's a pleasure." after introducing each other though, an empty question hung in their silence - what now? she'd ask why he was here or where his wounds came from, or even so, where he was going, but she stayed eerily silent, before turning to let the fidgeting Khepri up on her head.
"Speech,"
