//hit me up if we can do a rescue (whether with luci or Az or BOTH) I’m all down for it if you’d like c;
It’s always the small ones - the children and those deemed weaker that are picked off and targeted - some might say that’s simply nature and if this were about ferals after food he’d agree, but this is far from simply hunger driving wolves to the door.
Azrayel has always found the deaths of children and the young saddening - and enraging when dealt by a culprit.
The pointless torture now doubt in store is doubly so.
Something to be said for lucifer’s kin and their soft spots for the youngsters one might say - this huge habit of taking those lost under their wing (figuratively or literally) a trait passed since lucifers own mother looked out upon the wide universe and declared unto herself that she would see them safe.
The white lit eyes are narrowed at the scene and a rumble of discontent but agreement echoes Anubis’ words, shifting to gently nudge his little brother in comfort, he hums quietly we’ll get her back and the unspoken promise of ‘even if we have to raise the very depths of hell ourselves’ goes without saying.
Strange how fondness for tiny mortals grows upon him like fungus - but he cannot stand the idea of the tiny yet fearless little fae that had first greeted him in this place.
