priscilla "sil" rosario — female — the pitt — tags
if she had known what she was getting herself into, perhaps she would not have listened to ari after all. the avian insisted, though, that she remained, despite her growing discomfort in this place. why wouldn't she listen to him? he's looked out for her, her entire life. he's been nicer here, too. she didn't want to lose that. however, the call of a commotion would perhaps foreshadow her mistake all too late.
her ears perk upward, blue eyes looking around frantically. ari's golden figure stepped around her, watching silently. "quid accidit? she would whisper to him, eyes landing upon the fox that had greeted her, a caracal she has never met, and then a group of individuals, a golden figure leading them. she freezes, instantly recognizing the scent, her eye, her earring. the typhoon. she cowers backwards, tail curling around her legs. her wings ruffle up as she hides behind a bush, remaining silent as she observes the others following goldenluxury roux and jervis. she does not want to show her face. suddenly, she is ashamed. she is embarrassed for running away.
but, she stops staring, once the fox's voice speaks up. her gaze flickers to him, ari's own stance tall, though the others would not be able to see him. he remains silent still, listening to jervis with her. the fox's words, though, cause a chill to run through her entire body. she'd no idea where she had ended up. she'd no idea how treacherous this place was. perhaps if she runs now no one will notice. there was no shame in running this time. the female stumbles backward in an almost clumsy fashion, causing the bush she is hiding behind to ruffle slightly, but then the crow quickly hops in front of her, pausing her tracks. "stay." he demands. her eyes widen and then narrow. "this is the place that has slaves!" she hisses quietly in return, gaze hard. "not anymore. they're teaming up with the typhoon. stay." she doesn't respond, ears lowering. he's right. but, this place is still bad. they did bad things. "where would you go? they've taken you in. no matter where you went you would eventually run into bad things again. this is your home now."
the ragdoll remains silent. he's right. she looks back to the crowd. they've not protested so far. she is about to step out, trying to show her own support, but stops as she spots a specific someone. sil freezes, eyes locked onto him. "frater," she whispers to herself. suddenly, her paws move without her telling them to, and they shakily pull her towards him. "e-elijah?"
