Onision was gone for a while, the siren that had pulled him under the water had left him to suffer as he repeatedly suffocated, never able to truly die. She continued the process of moving his soul to a new body, and at this point, Oni was pissed. He was tired of the circle he was put through, and so a fight happened. Bloody, gruesome, but it happened.

By the time he was done, Onision had switched places with Aloysius, the ancient wolf creeping through the forest to find the one thing that made sense to him. Anything, anything.

Was the Ascendants still existent? Was Alexander waiting for him, his lover patiently waiting in his ghostly form? Was the others here? Was Moonmade still around? Atticus? Ren? He briefly wondered if it mattered, the sound of Aloysius' voice in his head making him pay more attention to the world around him now.

Things felt different. It smelt different.
