ARISIDE LANECES
✯ — GIVE ME A CHANCE TO CATCH MY BREATH

this wasn't the mercenary's regular cup of tea, patrolling the territory of the sunhaven in hopes of coming across someone. but tonight, she did stumble across someone, someone who had suffered a far worse lot in life than herself or any of those in the lands.
"wendell" she called, so as not to startle or upset the wolverine with her unannounced arrival. it seemed he was feeling well enough to show up again, something she eagerly welcomed. the group needed it these days. the river and oceans ran full of fish, much more than they could possibly need for so few mouths.
approaching with a rumbling noise akin to a purr, she wanted to show him she cared. she hadn't been able to take any revenge for Wendell, at least, not a marked revenge. her duel alliance had been called upon in the rosebloods and she had left a body in the pitt's territory, gutted and all, marked by her calling card, with no other damning factor. it had satisfied the hunger for blood in her belly, had calmed some of the rage.
she knew a war stirred within the group's enemies, and this ought to be one of the last times she showed up for fear of dragging sunhaven into a battle it was unprepared for. but she had ties here, ties that had disappeared and dropped off the edge of the world without a word. her forge had burned to the ground and some personal enemies were rising to start some mayhem in the haven.
putting aside her memories and worries, the tigress fretted over her groupmate's thinness and the state of his jaw. the poor guy. if only she could make foods from back home that he could eat. flicking her ears and tail, she sniffed him gently before setting down a small bundle of things. in the bundle were some soft cookies, shared with her by a typhoon member, a young lass. "Wendell, this one might be a surprise, but if you let this soften in water, it will be easier to eat. they are really quite soft and fluffy when first made and warm. some pretzels, made by a little girl from the typhoon. it's good to see you again." she purred, trying to express her warmth and happiness to have him back.
