Link can safely say that he felt better about himself before he remembered anything. Knowing his name had been nice, but ... the expectations, knowing that no matter what, he won't be able to feel anything for those old memories. He was an outsider to his own life. He thinks ... that maybe he'd prefer it if he had his complete memories, though, even so. If he knew what he felt for Mipha, for the other champions. As it is, though ... no. No, he doesn't want his memories.
To be completely honest, the conjuration thing is partly Link's, partly Shiekah's. .. No, he's not willing to elaborate on that. He likes hoarding stuff, though -- beetles are pretty good for making exilirs! Shiekah just makes sure the animals don't starve until Link makes it.
Link chirps somewhat apologetically. He scares a lot of people -- be it by surprising them or just being a sheer force of nature. Somebody had to explain the difference once, when somebody used that phrase the first time. He didn't want to scare people. That wasn't what good heroes did. He doesn't think so, at least -- the definition of hero is vague, but Link is still trying so hard to live up to the expectations of his predecessor (read: his past self).
He tilts his head. Planters? He isn't sure what the use is in taking care of near-dead plants, but ... he thinks it's nice. But is it something Link would want to do himself? He makes a strange sort of thoughtful noise. Then, he nods. He'd like to be nice enough to take care of plants, too. So he shuffles closer, eyes round and ears pricked as he waits for Orpheus to tell him .. what exactly was going on at all, really.
