CAUGHT UP IN A RUSH, IT'S KILLING YOU

The nights took a turn for the freezing, and that gave the Pitts’ pyromanic leader a chance to enjoy a roaring bonfire. Her masterpiece burned brightly in the central marketplace, throwing smoke columns to the stars and move above. Three large logs cracked and hissed, with various branches and other rubbish thrown to the bonfire. Midnight already rolled around and left, but the moon was high and dawn wouldn’t come for a few more hours.

Bags of variously sized marshmallows took up most of the table space – it seemed Ninaazu appreciated toasted smore’s. Hot chocolate, cold milk, coffee, and teas made up the rest; the alcoholic drinks and other substances were under the table, along with various blankets and furs if anyone wanted one for their cold back.

The ardent herself circled lazily around the bonfire, staring intently at her latest batch of twenty marshmallows that hovered over the flames. The perfect marshmallow, in her opinion, never got blackened by the fire. “Golden all the way around,” she mumbled, a reminder to herself as the fluffy things slowly turned in the air. Almost ready – and they’d be delicious.
