bai shi drifted down from the thin air above, the golden serpent landing far enough away that the sand would not bother the rest of the clan. their eyes traveled to sephiroth, an unspoken pride there. they could see he was more easy than he was before, resting had been necessary for the other after a lot of the stress he had been under.

their gaze shifted back to the sprawl of buildings. they kept a private smile, bringing themselves up the dune easily, feeling the sand sinking and moving under their heavy feet. "well done." they rumbled, gaze looking over the clan behind them. they were proud of the group for making it this far. sure, not everyone had been strong enough to make the journey, and they grieved the losses, but they were here now. they could all begin again with a new sense of hope.
