Amparo was no stranger to travel, but that didn’t mean she liked it. Her journey to the Rosebloods had been one fuelled by fear and urgency, so naturally it went by in the blink of an eye, but this? This? It was dragging, and she hated it.
She struggled to re-cap her canteen, thumbless paws and determined little needle mouth working hard to screw it back into place, and then she scampered to catch up with the crowd, sinking back into the fray with a barely suppressed groan of annoyance. Something had better happen soon, she thought bitterly, flicking sand out from between her toes. Amparo blinked. Hang on. Something can happen right now.
“[color=#6babb3]Hey!” She cried out, eyes fixed on something in the distant left. She made a point to arch her spine, fur bristling in alarm. “[color=#6babb3]H-Hey do y-, d-d-do you guys s-see th-that? Wh-What is th-th-that? W-We gotta, we gotta r-r-run!” She cried out. Nothing was there, of course, but you wouldn’t know that based on how she shrieked. “[color=#6babb3]Hu-Hurry!” Amparo urged, jogging around the rest.
