Oh god, a lot truly can happen within a week. A week is seven days- seven days isn't a lot, it's a short amount of time. A week can start out well, and before everyone knows it, one problem leads to another- ending the week on a bad note. Certainly there are several of possibilities that can unfold in a weeks time. For Sunhaven, Bucky hasn't even been leader for a week. Changes were made quickly- ranging from Marina stepping down and Bucky succeeding as Helion all the way to Bucky proposing to Ascendants to drop the enemy status. If Bucky looked back a week exactly, he wouldn't see these changes in his future. Things happen so suddenly at times that you can't even expect or prepare for it.
Bucky could sympathise with Goldenluxury-- he knows exactly what it's like to be used and have your memories tampered with. Being a former brainwashed victim himself, he knows that awful feeling you get in your chest afterwards. The realization, that you just got used to harm others, and that you aren't exactly sure who you are anymore. Of course, Buckingham has no clue Goldenluxury went under torture from Stryker. If he knew, the maine coon would tell her that things won't ever go back to normal completely. While it's something she probably wouldn't want to hear, the Helion couldn't lie by saying it'll eventually seem like the brainwashing never happened. Bucky hasn't really been that innocent, pure Buckingham Barnes- the Helion who leads Sunhaven is a fusion of the two.
The maine coon picked up Goldenluxury's scent while exiting the village. As the male has enhanced senses, he picked up the scent more easily, and recognized it to be Goldie. Any plans he had in the back of his mind were shoved to the side, tracking the scent silently, ears pricked for any noise. As he made his way over, Goldie's voice reached his tufted ears. A secret santa event? That certainly sounds interesting, it'd be a good event for the allying clans- and it fits right into the current holiday season.
"Hello Goldenluxury," The Helion meowed as he silently padded into the scene, gaze falling onto the bengal. He glanced over at the basket for a moment, taking note of the supplies and flyers inside. The flyers must be related to the event she mentioned, good idea putting it on paper. In case any members don't hear about the event directly from her, they can read up on it later. "The secret santa event sounds wonderful, we'd love to take part in it," He said with a nod, "And things are getting better here, thanks for asking. With Marina stepping down, I succeeded her as leader, and we're making progress on restoring our village and territory from the flood."
"How's the Typhoon doing lately?"
