The Ascendants. As far as names went, a little pretentious, maybe. Ascending where? Over everyone? Could be an interesting stage name, for somebody putting on an aerial performance, but still not quite...in touch. Whatever. It was just a name, and he knew better than most that a name didn't have to be indicative of anything, so the lion just cocked his head, the muscles above his eyes lifting. The jaguar's scrutiny didn't bother him, though there was something to be said for having subtlety- a bit rich coming from someone who tended to stand out fairly well, but he wasn't the one with all monochrome shades. "Cosmic General?" Fancy word for a deputy? Well, was there a sheriff? He really didn't want to know what they were probably called. "Sounds like you're the type of person who understands the gravity of a situation." Probably could've gone with something about the planets -how do you win a battle? planet- or something a bit more space-y, but a bit late for that now.
"I'm B," he said after a second, "like the letter. Looks like you guys have space." It was and wasn't an answer to Atticus' question.
