Ah, well... perhaps "view" isn't the best word to use. To be frank, he isn't quite sure what he's looking at right now. A long, dark tunnel, with just a few spots of light peering in from above, and what looks like leaves at the end of it. He keeps still for several minutes, staring at his currently cramped world, before he takes in a deep breath and nearly inhales a loose piece of bark. Then it clicks.
"I'm stuck in a log."
He doesn't actually mean to say it out loud, but out the words come. An observation while he ponders how to get out. He starts with trying to pull his head, to no avail, and slumps back down after only a few seconds of even trying. A paw lifts and scratches weakly at the outside bark before he promptly gives up. "Guess I'll die," The canine sighs. He stays there for what seems like hours until his stomach starts to growl and his throat feels thoroughly parched, and finally he starts to move once again. As he slowly lifts his body off the ground, he mumbles about how much trouble his sleep-walking has gotten him into as of late. Eventually he's standing with his head hanging, still caught in the log, but it's a start.
The canine swings the thing around and nearly loses his balance once, but finds his footing in the grass soon enough. He manages to lift his head enough to get a quick look of the area ahead of him; the trees seem a bit sparse, and light yellow-green grass glows in the sunlight just ahead. He begins to move a bit cautiously through the undergrowth, stretching out his front paws to tap a few times on the ground to check for any obstacles. It takes him several minutes to breach the five feet that stood before him and the start of the plains. He pads a few steps further before stopping, lifting the log once more. "Hello?" He calls, voice echoing out of the tree stuck on his head. "I'm stuck."
