Head cranes to the side whilst ears twitch to get a better sense of who would arrive. someone else of small stature like the boy standing not too far from the fluffy ginger beast. same steps of purpose with the hint of lingering sadness too. the hounds feels the rugged shift of the air and comes to stand on his feet to whirl around to face the pup then looks behind in quiet anticipation.

girl of golden hair and dark marks comes forth and states the name of the location. they typhoon. lips tug down in thought at such name. seems fitting and fits with the tropical island. of course, little regard had been given to an actual population residing in such a location far from main land. not crazy but it never came to mind when he did his job of hunting down troublesome spirits in the area a few hours ago. and in doing such job, the precautions for strangers had gone unnoticed from popping in and out of this plane of existence at random spots, something vaughn couldn’t help control.
sharp eyes noticed the closeness and long heartbeat of a look over the younger canine causes a brief exhale of a low hum. beneficial familial bonds were surreal in the eyes of one created from sharp glass and howling storms. a tilt of the head like a dog trying to hear its owner better stares at the pair. a passionate desire to experience flares up. to learn more about the ties of family that vastly differ from his own knowledge and experience.

”collecting some souls after chasing them for awhile. not fully finished just yet,” he states, no sense of having to lie to the faces of those who couldn’t interfere. silence falls for a moment then a spark of realization tickles his senses. ”apologizes. my name is vaughn. would you mind if i stayed for a bit until i finish my job?”
