She doesn't like irritations upon her skin, has little tolerance for anything that was vaguely slimy. The idea of being drenched in the substance would make her physically cringe. If she had felt more comfortable with The Pitt's community, perhaps she too would give a rather snarky comment. Pan has always had the tendency to be rather cheeky in her replies but the serval was intensely awkward and shy around strangers. It made her close up, become far more detached than she needed to be. Her exterior, therefore, was compromised. She doesn't like having her personality judged and assumed. While she doesn't like fighting, for example, Pan would not consider herself frail or vulnerable. She simply doesn't like inconveniences. Her more polite nature, on the other hand, was the girl's attempt at avoiding conflicts while she still views others as strangers or acquaintances. It was difficult for her to feel at ease around a group of creatures she has only just met.
She doesn't think much of the male's hesitation, not picking up on the brief pause and simply twitching an ear when she hears his response. A pride thing, maybe. Feeling a little braver, she simply smiles and replies: "The one who called you a deadshit."
