At Owen's call, the faerie flicked his ear, raising his sea-green optics up. Gently his brow creased. Did he count as a 'healer'? He certainly had more than enough medical knowledge, but Kian had never been comfortable sticking to the edges of battle. No, he belonged with his team, keeping an eye on them. The feline's tail twitched and his head soon swiveled on his nephew, blinking. Unease quickly seeping into the pirate's mind.
"Níl a fhios agam, mo leanbh," he murmured, glancing back up to Owen. Valentine was not his son, so he'd let the rex dictate what he was allowed to do, but he did not particularly like the idea of the boy heading off to battle. Children did not belong on the battlefield and he'd never believe otherwise, regardless of his own daughter's enthusiasm to be of a help in the past. It made him anxious. Children were the ones they had to protect.
