" gonna swallow the blazing sun !! "

tipping his head to the side he gave a simple non-commital hum, "yes, tsuyu, love. this is the rosebloods. we are here as you wished us to be. can i eat soon?" he murmured in a nuetral tone, aware of the hunger that screamed in his stomach and clawed at his throat.
he gave a gentle groan, the pain of his injuries non-existent, yet he could still feel the energy that it sucked on. his head tilted as vagabond approached, slightly amused to see the strange mask he wore, "on that point i would differ in opinion. what good does your mask do you?" came the dead response. with his turning, he had been re-gifted his eyesight after losing it through trauma and battle.
eyes rolling over the other hellhound, the shorter one stood, eyes carefully criticizing his injuries, feeling his own mouth water. he was so hungry ... stamping down on a growl of interest he cleared his throat, "your injuries ... are becoming rotten. do you ... not know how to treat them?" he asked slowly, figuring out the words he wanted as he spoke, golden eyes fixed on the darker hellbeast.
his fur may be white here, stained by mud and sand in clumps that reeked of blood, the long dried liquid clumping on his legs and chest, evidence of a fight. he moved slowly, flipping up the top of his mask, the jaws opening with a creaking groan thanks to the coils and wires. his face held no certain expression, golden eyes staring out amongst the ripped up tissues of his face that often showed down to the bone structure, muscles showing in places that didn't look quite natural. scars decorated his body, most heavily along his left flank around his hip, where a living prosthetic was connected, and spattering over the rest of his fur, black markings running up his forelegs and hindquarters from his paws, like veins brought right to the surface filled with black fluid.
he sniffed the air, lip curling slightly, "I know your scent. I've smelt it back where I used to live." as he spoke, he moved to stand before his crippled daughter, guarding her from a possible attack. had he been capable of showing emotion, he would have been screaming and shouting, crying and trying to attack the other in his grief. but he was still, motionless and with his eyes boring into the taller beast, "you took the life of my mate, scalped him and left him for us to find. how cruel must you be. why did you do it?" there should have been a tremor in his voice if he had been holding back his emotions. not even his eyes were wet, but if vagabond had known the true extent of their courtship, maybe he would felt slightly unsettled by the lack of emotion that he showed when speaking of his first soulmate.
