[align=center][div style="text-align: justify; width: 60%; font-family: georgial; font-size: 11pt;"]Y'know, he'd never actually tasted sand before. It was unsurprising giving his roots and affinities for colder clans, a curious creature like himself may have been interested at some point regardless. Each grain belonged to a rock after all, plenty of birds and bird-like creatures used such hard things to break down foods... no, he was still not tempted. An oddity of a thought brought about by seeing a pile of sand stacked like a bad dinner, it wasn't until a sneeze erupted from behind it that Feliks figured out there was more life than him around. An invisible brow was raised, slowly circling around the structures to get a better look when Masie got to the entity before he could. For now he trusted the dinosaur, but Feliks still stuck around out of aforementioned inquisitiveness.
The young figure finally came into view, emerald eyes narrowing in thought as the other appeared to be gritty in their resolve to do something with the sand. Unless they had swallowed a pufferfish, the Privateer doubted it was anything else but the beach that the nameless one had chosen to eat. An exasperated sigh escaped him, uncomfortable in playing the 'responsible adult' role but resorting to it anyways. He'd already proved he was a naive figure by not realising someone was around, if another child died on his watch with that in mind (his own or otherwise), Feliks wouldn't know what to do. Approaching closer, flexing a talon in preparation in case he had to force the sand out of the other's mouth, the gryphon would clear his throat.
"Hey, spit that out. Trust me, plenty of better things 'round here you can be munching on. You'll destroy a crab's home or something by doing that,". An internal grimace fell upon him as he was reminded of a crab invasion not too long ago, but with the crustacean's war long since over, he'd rather not destroy the armistice.
