Questions no one can answer -

They should have killed him. That's at least the thought that he had of what they were going to do with the lion. Vagabond had hardly been intimidated by the Ascendant leader, just looking out outnumbered and powerless the other actually was. the Hellhound could have crushed the other's skull if he wanted to. There didn't seem to be all that much of a gain from all that had actually happened other than a little bit of information here. They had gotten rid of a leader for whatever they were called here, and he wasn't quite sure what that meant in the world like this. If anything, Goldenboy knew more about this world than he did and how it worked. He was just trying to continue to get business, and it almost seemed like he was going back to the same places over and over again to see if there was anything new. He could at least say that this world seemed to be small when it came to dealing with animals that were capable of speech in the first place. The Hellhound wasn't the one to really have riveting conversations, but he still liked to talk to others around him or appreciated the company without saying anything. When he had arrived in the world before finding the Rosebloods, the Hellhound had been completely alone and just had his own thoughts and memories from the heist that was basically his fault. If the rest of the crew was alive, would they blame him for his actions?

Vagabond wasn't sure, and he was afraid to ask. Turning into the animal wasn't the best thing to happen to them, and he wasn't even sure if they would be able to make a living here. They could probably still find valuable stuff as there were obviously humans that were still here. Maybe at some point, they would make it back to their own city if it existed here as there were bound to be cities around. Trying to rob someone as an animal though probably wasn't going to work all that well since they wouldn't be able to understand what he was saying. Vagabond could almost be considered to going through an identity crisis. Going back to old habits, but not knowing where their life would take them in the future in a world like this. Power over some groups would be nice if he even knew what those groups were because it would mean that they could get whatever they wanted. Some made sense while other thoughts didn't. One thought that did make sense was that they should have killed the guy. Titan, or whatever his name was he had forgotten the lion by now.

The Hellhound had been the one to carry the guy and was surprised about how easy it was for him to take out the lion. He had to give props to Goldenboy as this had been the other's job to take on with the intel he had managed to find. The large hellbeast had made his way back toward the Rosebloods, cleaned himself up a little bit. However, he still needed to clean the rest of his gear on top of everything else. The Hellhound didn't know when he would be able to grab more knives, as he was going to need some new ones eventually. He was also really fucking starving and could use something to eat. As usual, the older male seemed to be near one of the many waterfalls that were scattered around the canyon. He was more focused on the water that was pooling at the bottom of the waterfall, having placed his throwing knives in the water and began to clean them off with his paws. Once the knives were clean, they would float out of his hands and sheathe themselves back on the sash that he had across his chest. God, he was fucking tired. He hadn't had any sleep since he had really arrived in a place like this and had been doing nothing but work constantly. They were making progress though, and that's what mattered to Vagabond at the end.
